Role: Head of Retail / Retail Director

Location: Remote role, with store visits across the UK/Ireland

Salary: £75,000 - £110,000 DOE plus bonus!

My client is a prestigious luxury fragrance house seeking an experienced Retail Sales & Education Director to lead retail performance, elevate brand presence and drive commercial growth across the UK & Ireland.

This is a key leadership role responsible for developing the retail sales and education strategy, ensuring exceptional execution across luxury retail partners while delivering an outstanding client experience that reflects the brand's heritage and positioning.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the retail sales and education strategy across the UK & Ireland.
  • Drive retail sales performance through effective commercial planning, KPI management and analysis.
  • Lead, inspire and develop the Retail Sales and Education team, creating a high-performing, customer-focused culture.
  • Build and strengthen relationships with key retail partners including Harrods, Selfridges, Liberty, Harvey Nichols, Space NK, Brown Thomas and leading independent luxury retailers.
  • Create and deliver engaging education programmes that inspire retail teams, increase product knowledge and drive sell-through.
  • Partner with Marketing and Commercial teams to execute successful product launches, animations and in-store events.
  • Ensure the brand is represented to the highest luxury standards across all retail touchpoints.
  • Identify opportunities to grow distribution, improve productivity and maximise retail performance.
  • Manage budgets, forecasts and performance reporting while monitoring market trends and competitor activity.

About You

  • Significant experience in a senior retail leadership role within luxury fragrance, beauty or premium retail.
  • Proven success driving sales growth across luxury department stores and prestige retail accounts.
  • Experience leading both retail sales and education functions.
  • National account management experience is strongly advantageous.
  • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to analyse performance and implement growth strategies.
  • An inspiring leader with excellent coaching, communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Passionate about luxury retail, exceptional client experiences and developing high-performing teams.
  • Flexible to travel across the UK & Ireland as required.
