Who we are
GigExecs is building a better way for experienced professionals to find flexible, independent work, and for organisations to access people with the judgment and experience to make a difference. We started two years ago. The platform is live, 1,186 professionals have registered, and we are steadily improving the opportunities and features available to them. Now we need to prove the commercial side of the business. That is the challenge this person will own.
The opportunity
We need someone who can sell!
Someone who sees what we have built, sees what it could become, and wants to help make it happen. You will work directly with the founders to test our revenue model, find out what people will pay for, win our first paying customers and build a sales approach we can repeat. We want someone experienced enough to take ownership of revenue and ambitious enough to help us grow GigExecs internationally.
This is both a strategic and a hands-on role. You will have a voice in what we sell, whom we sell to and how we grow. You will also pick up the phone, start conversations, follow up and close deals. At this stage, those things belong together.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

What you will build
There are two clear opportunities in front of us. We need to convert professionals who get real value from GigExecs into paying members. We also need to build commercial relationships with companies, recruiters and other organisations that need access to experienced talent.
You will help us work out where demand is strongest and then go after it. That means testing offers and pricing, speaking with users and buyers, building a pipeline, closing the first sales and learning quickly from what works.
We are looking for the person who can help take GigExecs from a platform with promising early traction to a business generating consistent revenue.
Who you are
You have sold something difficult before. You know how to create demand, handle objections and close, especially when the offer is still evolving.
Perhaps you have built sales in a startup, talent business, marketplace, recruitment firm, professional services company or B2B platform. Your background matters less than your ability to win customers and build from the ground up.
You are comfortable taking responsibility without waiting for a sales team, a polished playbook or a large marketing budget. You can challenge the founders, change your mind when customers tell you something different, and keep going when a deal does not close.

What we can offer
GigExecs is bootstrapped. We have not raised capital and we cannot offer a salary at this stage. We can offer equity to the right person and a meaningful role in shaping the business. We will agree the commitment, responsibilities and equity terms openly before anyone joins. We know this will only make sense for a small number of people. We are looking for someone who understands the risk, believes in the opportunity and has the drive and ability to help us earn our way forward.
Interested? Tell us what you have sold or built, why GigExecs interests you, and what you would do first to turn our early traction into revenue. A direct, honest note will tell us more than a polished cover letter.
