Role Purpose

Responsible for defining the Revenue Growth Management (RGM) priorities for the Essential Dairy & Plant Based (EDP) categories over a multi-year horizon, working closely with the Senior RGMs to optimise our trade investment and develop winning RGM strategies. Works cross-functionally to influence senior Sales & Marketing leads to deploy plans with excellence. Leverages best practice to ensure a consistent approach by RGM lever, in addition to direct functional responsibility for the one business process planning cycle framework deployment and ongoing processes.

Key Activities

Strategic Agenda

  • Lead overall development of RGM priorities for EDP categories in collaboration with Marketing, ensuring clear alignment with the overall, category and brand strategy and jobs to be done
  • Optimise full RGM toolkit (all 4 levers) & establish and maintain long term principles for price/promo strategy through regular strategic oversight and input into the category plans
  • Responsible for leading and contributing to key RGM forums, to share promo & trade terms insights and recommendations (e.g. trade spending performance review, trade strategy group) as well as supporting the team to manage out of guidelines proposals

Cross-Functional working

  • Partner with Category Marketing Director & key members of CCD team to build winning multi-year commercial strategies to support business growth ambitions (AOP & Strat Plan) – leading the agenda on the optimal RGM strategies to support category growth ambitions
  • Collaborate with Commercial Planning to adapt in-year plans to drive performance

RGM Team & Business Impact

  • Leverage synergies across EDP categories to drive consistent approach by RGM lever across Danone UKI, e.g. use of promo analytics
  • Lead and develop team of direct reports to build core commercial capabilities and RGM expertise
  • Support RGM director to inspire wider business to develop and grow ‘RGM mindset’, sharing greater visibility on performance & PRGM KPIs through critical healthy nutrition forums and cycles

The salary bracket for this role is £90,000 - 120,000 plus car allowance, bonus and competitive benefits package.

  • Able to translate external performance insight (either customer, competitor) into tangible RGM actions that drive competitive growth
  • Can influence others, building compelling narratives & recommendations from complex data
  • Manages ambiguity, with a dual focus on short-term deliverables and long-term success factors
