Head of Revenue
This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Head of Revenue based in United Kingdom.
This role offers the opportunity to lead the full revenue engine across demand generation, sales, expansion, lifecycle revenue, and revenue operations.
You’ll identify the biggest constraints to profitable growth, quantify opportunities, and prioritize initiatives based on expected commercial impact.
Working closely with executive leadership, you’ll translate data and customer insights into measurable revenue strategies and execution plans.
You’ll oversee acquisition economics, sales performance, pricing, offers, retention, forecasting, attribution, and experimentation.
The role combines strategic leadership with hands-on commercial problem-solving in a fast-moving, highly accountable remote environment.
You’ll also develop leaders, strengthen operating systems, and introduce automation and AI where they can improve efficiency and decision-making.
Success will be measured through sustainable improvements in cash generation, qualified demand, revenue economics, and scalable growth systems.
Accountabilities
- Own company-wide revenue growth across demand generation, sales, direct and self-serve revenue, upsells, cross-sells, downsells, saves, referrals, and reactivation.
- Diagnose the revenue funnel to identify the highest-value constraint before recommending solutions or investments.
- Build quarterly revenue plans with quantified assumptions, targets, owners, timelines, and expected impact.
- Lead and coordinate revenue activities across sales, marketing, operations, support, finance, and technology teams.
- Lead the Sales Director while establishing clear accountability and operating rhythms across the broader revenue organization.
- Set, monitor, and improve leading and lagging KPIs across acquisition, sales, retention, and expansion revenue.
- Manage demand-generation economics, including qualified lead volume, cost per qualified request, CAC, ROI/ROAS, and channel-level efficiency.
- Improve sales performance across consultation volume, revenue per completed call, conversion rates, average order value, show rates, response speed, and forecasting accuracy.
- Optimize pricing, packaging, offers, promotions, and lifecycle monetization to increase customer value sustainably.
- Build and maintain reliable revenue operations covering attribution, dashboards, lead tracking, funnel measurement, forecasting, quality assurance, and experiment measurement.
- Establish a disciplined testing program across acquisition, landing pages, sales, follow-up, email, SMS, direct mail, offers, and expansion opportunities.
- Design experiments with clear hypotheses, controls, success metrics, guardrails, and decision rules.
- Improve paid and organic acquisition economics while maintaining sufficient qualified demand for the sales organization.
- Increase revenue per lead and revenue per customer through improvements in conversion, average order value, offers, upsells, cross-sells, and reactivation.
- Use AI and automation where they can improve speed, conversion, decision quality, or operating leverage.
- Develop accurate forecasting and executive reporting so commercial decisions are based on reliable data.
- Develop leaders, delegate effectively, and hold teams accountable for both results and execution quality.
- Prioritize resources across initiatives by assessing where additional budget, time, and team capacity can generate the greatest expected incremental value.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
