Head of Rewards

Basingstoke
3 Days Onsite per Week
12 Month Contract
up to £1000p/d via Umbrella

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Head of Reward to lead the development and delivery of reward strategies, programmes and frameworks that support business objectives, organisational transformation and colleague engagement. This is a high-profile role requiring extensive reward expertise, strong commercial acumen and the ability to influence senior stakeholders across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the design, implementation and continuous improvement of compensation and reward programmes.
  • Develop reward solutions that balance organisational objectives, employee experience and affordability.
  • Act as the subject matter expert for Willis Towers Watson (WTW) Global Grading methodology.
  • Lead job evaluation, grading, market pricing and salary structure activities.
  • Support or lead Job Architecture implementation and governance.
  • Partner with senior leaders, HR leadership teams and executive stakeholders.
  • Provide strategic reward advice during organisational change and transformation programmes.
  • Prepare high-quality executive papers, proposals and presentations.
  • Manage multiple complex reward projects and workstreams simultaneously.

Skills & Experience Required

  • Extensive in-house compensation and reward experience.
  • Strong experience of Willis Towers Watson Global Grading.
  • Experience implementing Job Architecture (desirable).
  • Proven experience leading complex reward programmes.
  • Strong commercial acumen and strategic thinking.
  • Experience with pay benchmarking, salary structures, job evaluation and market pricing.
  • Strong analytical capability with workforce analytics and financial data.
  • Experience supporting organisational change and transformation.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, communication and influencing skills.
  • Demonstrable project management experience.
