We have big plans for the future and are looking for a Head of Safety, Sustainability & Compliance to help ensure that safety, reliability and environmental responsibility sit at the heart of everything we do.
What you'll be doing:
- Lead and champion a positive, proactive safety culture across the business
- Provide strategic leadership for safety, compliance, risk and sustainability
- Ensure compliance with maritime, health & safety and environmental regulations
- Own and continuously improve our Integrated Management System (IMS)
- Act as Red Funnel's Designated Person (DP), providing independent oversight of our Safety Management System
- Build strong relationships with regulators, stakeholders and operational teams
- Lead audits, investigations, emergency planning and business continuity exercises
- Drive delivery of our ESG strategy, Changing Tides

About you
You'll be a credible leader who can influence at every level, challenge constructively and inspire others to put safety and sustainability at the forefront of decision-making.
You'll bring:
- Significant senior-level experience in safety, compliance or risk leadership
- A proven track record of improving safety culture and organisational performance
- Strong knowledge of health & safety, risk and compliance frameworks
- Exceptional communication, stakeholder management and leadership skills
- NEBOSH Diploma (or equivalent Level 6 qualification)
- Chartered IOSH status (or working towards it)
