Head of Sales SE Asia (Aviation)

Role Overview
Regional Sales Leadership across Southeast Asia. Strategic Customer Acquisition and growth of anchor accounts. Cross-functional Commercial Collaboration with business units to win proposals and secure revenue.
Key Responsibilities
The Head of Sales for Southeast Asia plays a pivotal role in driving commercial growth across one of the most dynamic aviation markets in the world. Based in Southeast Asia, this position leads customer engagement, market development, and sales execution for the region, working closely with the Vice President of Sales to translate strategic objectives into measurable commercial success.

Customer Engagement and Relationship Building
- Build and strengthen relationships with airlines, operators, and aviation stakeholders.
- Identify new business opportunities and expand the company’s footprint across airframe, engine, component, training, and technical support services.

Market Development and Sales Execution
- Drive market intelligence and analyze commercial data.
- Contribute to regional forecasts and business development planning.
- Engage with internal stakeholders to ensure customer requirements are addressed.

Sales Cycle Management
- Manage the full sales cycle—from opportunity identification and pipeline development to proposal leadership and contract negotiation.
- Steer RFP processes and collaborate with technical and commercial teams to craft competitive proposals.
- Ensure alignment with internal policies and commercial governance.

Industry Engagement
- Participate in trade shows, industry associations, and commercial meetings to promote the company’s capabilities across the region.

Customer Stakeholder Mapping and Pricing Discussions
- Maintain structured customer-stakeholder mapping.
- Support pricing discussions and contribute to group-level commercial initiatives.

Travel and Engagement
- Travel within the territory to maintain strong customer contact and ensure high-quality engagement.
Qualifications
To succeed you will bring:
- Strong foundation of aviation and MRO sales experience, ideally with more than eight years of proven commercial achievements in the aerospace or maintenance-repair-overhaul sector.
- Understanding of contracts, pricing structures, and proposal development across aircraft, engine, and component services.
- Existing network within the aviation and MRO community.
- University-level education or equivalent professional experience.
- Excellent command of English.
- Knowledge of a regional language is beneficial.
- Comfortable preparing commercial papers, business cases, and presentations using MS Office tools.
