Head of Sales | GLOWWA Manchester (predominantly office based)
About GLOWWA
GLOWWA is one of the fastest growing hair supplement and hair wellness brands in the UK. Already trusted by around 1,600 salons and generating close to £8m in turnover, the business is still early in its market penetration, with real headroom into barbers, beauty salons and aesthetics.
The Advocate Group is proud to be partnering with GLOWWA on this newly created Head of Sales appointment. This is a role about bringing structure, visibility and commercial leadership into a sales function that is scaling fast.
The Opportunity
This is not a traditional Head of Sales role built around a handful of major accounts. GLOWWA has already proven it can win salons. The opportunity now is what happens next: retention, account growth, repeat orders and genuine commercial discipline across a growing team.
You will be the person who is closest to the numbers. You will know exactly why one Partnership Manager converts three times as many leads as another, and exactly what to do about it.
What You Will Own
Sales performance and coaching
- Full visibility of leads, calls, conversion, new accounts, revenue and retention, by individual and by team
- Listening to calls, spotting what top performers do differently, and coaching the rest of the team to match it
- A proper operating rhythm: Monday kick offs, leaderboards, call activity tracking and performance recognition
Retention and account growth

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
Start with a chat, not a search bar
Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
Graduate Consultant — 2026 Scheme
Why you're a good match
StrongYour economics background and your summer at a regional bank line up with what PwC looks for on the consulting scheme. Applications close in four weeks.
See breakdownIt searches the market for you
Every day your agent scans the market matching roles against what actually matters to you, not just keywords on a CV.
Why you're a good match
You’ve got the grades and the economics background, and your bank internship is exactly the experience this scheme looks for. Apply soon — deadlines close within the month.
Experience fit
Your summer at the bank plus your econometrics coursework map directly to the day-one responsibilities on this scheme — client modelling, market briefings, and deal support.
Only hits
No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.
- Real discipline around why customers churn, how often they reorder and how quickly they place a second order
- Turning £500 a month salons into £2,000 a month accounts through smarter cross sell and product penetration
- Using Salesforce to drive proactive intervention, not just record what has already happened
Commercial reporting and budget
- Walking into the Monday leadership meeting with the numbers that matter: sales, new salons, leads, conversion, education completed, top performers and priorities for the week
- Owning sales budgets, forecasting and monthly performance as GLOWWA introduces departmental P&Ls
Team and Structure
You will lead a growing team of UK and US Partnership Managers and field based Educators, based together in Manchester, plus oversight of an international distributor network worth around £1.6m, led by a highly capable and self sufficient International Partnership Manager.
Education sits with GLOWWA's Global Education Manager for content and quality. Your job is to use it commercially, faster onboarding, deeper cross sell and stronger retention from every salon that comes through the door.
You will also own the commercial side of GLOWWA's trade show and event activity: managing the team on site, lead capture, follow up, conversion and ROI.
What We Are Looking For
- A genuine sales leader who gets into the detail of individual and team performance, not someone operating purely at a strategic level
- Strong numerical and analytical ability, with real confidence in CRM and data driven sales management
- Experience building retention and account growth strategies in a multi customer sales environment
- A coaching mindset and comfort with a fast growth, entrepreneurial environment
- Beauty, hair, personal care or wellness experience is a bonus, not a requirement. As one of GLOWWA's leadership team put it: "It could be a can of Coke or it could be a pot of Hair Food. What matters is how you manage sales performance."
