Head of Sales

£65,000 + performance-based bonus and commission
Oxford | Hybrid working | International travel

Please note: Previous sponsorship sales and team management experience within the B2B events industry is essential for this role. Applications without both cannot be considered.

Are you a proven new business sales leader who still loves being in the deal?

We are partnering with a fast-growing international B2B events and marketing business to find a commercially ambitious Head of New Business Sales.

This is a major revenue leadership role with responsibility for transforming and scaling a new business function across a portfolio of established international events and digital products. You will own a multimillion-pound new business target, lead and develop the team, improve the sales process and personally help unlock and close strategically important deals.

This is not a role for someone who wants to manage purely through spreadsheets and reports. It is a true player-coach position for a leader who enjoys being close to the action, understands what excellent new business looks like and knows how to create a focused, accountable and high-performing sales culture.

The opportunity

You will be selling high-value sponsorship, event and digital marketing solutions to senior commercial decision-makers within global, innovation-led markets. The business already has a strong international presence and an established portfolio. Your role will be to accelerate its growth by opening new accounts, increasing deal values and building a more structured and repeatable approach to new business sales.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
