Role Overview
We are currently seeking a Pharmaceutical Head of Sales to join a leading engineering and process solutions organisation operating within the Pharmaceutical and Life Sciences sector. This is an exciting opportunity for a commercially driven sales leader to establish and lead a global pharmaceutical sales function, driving growth across EPC projects, process engineering solutions, stainless steel tanks, and pre-assembled skid systems for pharmaceutical manufacturers.
In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing a global sales strategy, building key client relationships, and identifying new business opportunities across the UK, Ireland, USA, and wider international markets.
You will act as a key ambassador for the business, aligning the organisation's engineering capabilities with the evolving needs of pharmaceutical manufacturers worldwide. This position offers a unique opportunity to shape the future growth of the Life Sciences division, including building and developing a global sales team whilst contributing to the strategic expansion of the business within the pharmaceutical sector.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
Your duties as the Pharmaceutical Head of Sales will be varied, however the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:
- Develop and deliver a global sales strategy for pharmaceutical process engineering solutions, liquid and semi-solid processing systems, and EPC projects, achieving ambitious revenue growth targets.
- Build, manage, and develop a strong pharmaceutical sales pipeline through targeted lead generation activities and strategic account development.
- Develop and maintain trusted relationships with key pharmaceutical customers, leading commercial and contractual negotiations through to successful completion.
- Create sales plans, forecasts, and budgets while providing regular updates on market opportunities, business performance, and future growth projections.
- Represent the business at international exhibitions, conferences, and industry events, acting as a key ambassador for the organisation and supporting global business development initiatives.

Role Requirements
To be successful in your application to this exciting role as the Pharmaceutical Head of Sales, we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:
- A proven track record of sales success within the pharmaceutical sector, with significant experience in pharmaceutical process equipment, hygienic liquid processing systems, or EPC project environments.
- More than 10 years of experience in sales and business development, with demonstrable success in lead generation, customer acquisition, and revenue growth.
- Strong understanding of pharmaceutical industry legislation, compliance requirements, and regulatory standards.
- Excellent commercial, presentation, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence decision-makers at all levels.
- Strong leadership capabilities with the ability to build, mentor, and develop high-performing sales teams within an international environment.
