Head of Sales

Salary: £75,000, discretionary bonus + additional benefits. Location: Hybrid working with regular engagement in London and across the UK

Are you a commercially driven leader with the credibility and network to influence at the highest levels of the financial services sector?

A leading and established Association has a brand-new opportunity available to join their successful collaborative team as Head of Sales. You will play a central role in expanding its reach, growing commercial income, and strengthening its impact across wealth management, investment services, and financial advice.

This is a highly visible business development role where you will shape and deliver a targeted sales strategy, engage senior decision-makers, and secure long-term value through meaningful membership growth. You will have free reign to focus purely on sales; there is no line management.

About the role

Reporting to the Chief Commercial Officer, you will lead new member acquisition activity, building a strong and well-qualified pipeline of prospective organisations. You will work collaboratively across policy, events, learning, membership, and communications teams to deliver a compelling and credible proposition to senior stakeholders.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
