Head of Sales – Foodservice
Successful Food Manufacturer
Hybrid - London
Up to £100k + car allow + bonus + benefits
An award-winning food manufacturer is looking to appoint an experienced HOS to lead and grow its foodservice end-user channel.
This is a senior, customer-facing role with responsibility for developing business across major pub groups, hotel chains, and other national foodservice operators. You will lead the commercial strategy for the channel while remaining close to customers, building influential relationships, and identifying opportunities for sustainable growth.
The role
- Lead the sales strategy for the foodservice end-user channel
- Manage and develop relationships with national pub groups, hotel chains, and other key operators
- Deliver profitable growth across existing customers
- Identify and convert new business opportunities
- Lead, coach, and develop the foodservice sales team
- Create and deliver customer-specific commercial plans
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with senior decision-makers
- Work closely with marketing, category, innovation, and operations
- Use customer and market insight to identify new opportunities
- Maintain accurate forecasts and take ownership of sales, margin, and budget performance

About you
You will be an experienced foodservice sales professional with a strong understanding of the UK end-user market. You may currently be operating as a Sales Controller, Head of Sales, Senior National Account Manager, or in a similar commercial leadership position.

You will ideally have:
- Experience working for a food or drink manufacturer
- Strong relationships across pub groups, hotel chains, or national foodservice operators
- A successful track record of managing and growing major accounts
- Experience leading and developing a sales team
- Strong commercial, negotiation, and strategic planning skills
- The confidence to influence customers and internal stakeholders at a senior level
- A proactive approach to identifying and converting new business
