Head of Sales — LEC Robotics
London (on-site), Full-time
London Export Corporation — LEC Robotics
ABOUT US
LEC Robotics is the robotics arm of London Export Corporation, a fast-growing London group that also spans beverage distribution, AI products and UK–China trade. We distribute and deploy robotics into businesses across the UK — and the sector is about to explode. We need the person who makes sure we're the ones selling it when it does.
THE ROLE
You own sales completely. Full growth of the business sits under you: the pipeline, the deals, the team, the number. This is a leadership-by-doing role — you show how it's done by closing deals yourself, and you push everyone around you to the same standard.
This is a full-time, office-based job — but if you're just sitting behind the desk, it's not for you. We need someone out pounding the pavement: in meetings, at client sites, at events, pushing hard every day. The office is your base, not your hiding place.
And be clear on what you're joining: this is a scale-up. Nothing is handed to you — no warm pipeline waiting, no machine already built. It needs thought and action. You think it through, then you go and make it happen.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits
No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.
You are a go-getter. If hotels are the target for one of our products, you're not writing a strategy document about hotels — you're getting the meetings, and you're organising the event at our new headquarters warehouse where the top people in the industry walk through and see the robots working. Then you do the same in the next sector, and the next. This goes across every industry, not one.
You bring access. You have contacts, networks and the ability to open doors across sectors — and where you don't have the contact, you find a way in anyway. You solve problems, think outside the box, and move things forward without being asked.
You build the engine. You hire your own team, manage them, and take care of sales completely — but you are not a manager of managers. You lead from the front, in the room, on the calls, at the events.
WHAT YOU'LL OWN
- Revenue: immediate sales and the full growth of the business — the number is yours
- Deals: sourcing, meetings, pitches, negotiations, closing — personally, from day one
- Sector expansion: opening new industries one after another — hospitality, retail, logistics, events, and beyond
- Showcase events: flagship demonstrations at our headquarters warehouse, putting decision-makers in front of working robots
- The team: hire, build and manage your own salesforce, and drive them hard
- The standard: prove what good looks like by doing it, then hold everyone to it

WHO YOU ARE
- A proven closer with a track record of winning business personally — not just presiding over teams that did
- Connected: real contacts and access across industries, and the credibility to get meetings others can't
- A go-getter and problem solver: fast-paced, proactive, always moving things forward
- A builder: you've hired and grown sales teams before, and you lead them from the front
- Scale-up minded: you've worked where nothing was handed to you, and you built it anyway
- Hungry for the sector: robotics is about to grow massively and you want to be the person who grew a business inside it
- All-in: this is a demanding, fast role with real ownership and real upside. If your priority is strict work-life balance, this won't be the right fit — we're looking for someone who wants to build something big
