Spinaclean are looking for an experienced and commercially driven Head of Sales & Business Development to join our Senior Leadership Team and play a pivotal role in shaping the future growth of our business. This is an opportunity for a sales leader who thrives on balancing strategic direction with hands-on business development. Whilst leading an established and dedicated sales team, you'll also be expected to proactively identify and secure new business opportunities, develop new markets and strengthen our position both in the UK and internationally.

The Role
As Head of Sales & Business Development, you will:
- Lead, coach and develop an experienced and committed sales team, creating a high-performance culture.
- Be an active member of the Senior Leadership Team, contributing to company strategy and decision-making.
- Take a hands-on approach to winning new business and developing key commercial opportunities.
- Identify and develop new markets, sectors and routes to market.
- Support and grow our expanding network of UK and international distributors, ensuring strong relationships and continued commercial success.
- Build long-term relationships with key customers and strategic partners.
- Analyse sales performance and market trends to identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Work collaboratively with Marketing, Operations and Product Development to maximise commercial opportunities.
- Establish meaningful KPIs and drive accountability across the sales function.

About You
We're looking for someone who has:
- Experience within a senior sales leadership role.
- A proven track record of delivering consistent business growth.
- Strong business development credentials with experience of winning new business
- Experience managing and developing successful sales teams.
- The ability to think strategically whilst remaining operationally involved.
- Excellent commercial awareness and negotiation skills.
- Strong communication skills.
- A proactive, energetic and results-driven approach.
- Experience working with distribution networks would be highly advantageous, particularly within UK and international markets.
Experience within cleaning equipment or B2B capital equipment sectors would be beneficial but is not essential for candidates who can demonstrate transferable commercial success.
