Head of Sales – UK Market

Partner: A premium global education consultancy, supporting students and student-athletes into top universities across the US, UK and Canada

Location: Remote working, preferably London or South East based

Reports to: Founder & CEO

Salary: £50,000-£60,000 + quarterly bonus

Connecting Education are recruiting for a partner organisation that helps ambitious students and student-athletes get into the world's best universities. Through admissions counselling, athletic recruitment support, and a range of programmes that build well-rounded, standout applicants. They're now looking for a Head of Sales to own growth across the UK and build out a brand new sales team.

This is a hands-on, senior leadership role for someone who wants to build a market from the ground up - taking a founder-led sales function and turning it into a scalable, repeatable engine for growth. You'll lead outreach, manage the full sales pipeline, and personally close high-value deals, while building and developing a team as the region scales.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
