HEAD OF SALES UK & IRELAND - BA FOOD EUROPE
This is a unique opportunity to join a business at a turning point in its transformation journey and play a key role in shaping its future. We are seeking an entrepreneurial sales leader who combines strategic thinking with hands-on execution to build a winning organization and deliver long-term growth.
This is a role for you who can inspire people, are bold and dares to challenge processes, ways of working, and are a master in simplifying complexity.
You will report directly to the Vice President Nordics, UK & Ireland, DACH and Commercial Excellence, BA Food Europe.
WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
As one of the largest Food businesses in Europe, the UK & Ireland market combines a strong foundation with significant untapped growth potential. This role offers you the chance to build a high-performing commercial organization, strengthen execution, enhance customer focus, and accelerate profitable growth.
Your responsibilities:
- People & Culture: Lead, develop, and empower a team of nine senior specialists, fostering an inclusive, high-performing culture built on trust, collaboration, and accountability.
- Execute: The direction is set - now it is all about the execution and ensuring strong alignment between growth ambitions and operational delivery.
- Drive business performance: Take end-to-end accountability for commercial performance, profitability, customer experience, organizational effectiveness, and sustainable growth.
- Strengthen market leadership: Position the business as the preferred partner in the market by delivering superior value propositions, commercial excellence, and long-term partnership success.
- Shape the future operating model: Shape and implement the future operating model, creating scalable ways of working that support long-term success.
- Lead with General Manager accountability: Lead the business with a true General Manager mindset, balancing strategic direction with operational execution to deliver measurable business results.
- Lead business transformation: Drive the business turnaround by establishing a winning commercial structure, strengthening market execution, and accelerating profitable growth.
- Build a high-performing organization: Build and lead a high-performing, customer-centric, and entrepreneurial organization where the customer is at the center of every decision.
- Enable success through collaboration: Partner with and influence shared service functions to ensure the right capabilities, processes, and service levels are in place to enable business performance and long-term success.
- Develop future capabilities: Develop organizational capabilities, performance standards, and ways of working that will define the future success of the UK & Ireland Food business.
- Accelerate digital transformation: Drive digital adoption and data-driven decision-making to improve commercial effectiveness, customer outcomes, and business performance.

Requirements:
- 10+ years of commercial leadership experience, including leading sizable sales organizations.
- Proven success driving business transformation, organizational change, and profitable growth.
- Strong track record of building high-performing teams and commercial organizations.
- Experience managing strategic customers and complex commercial negotiations.
- Industry experience within foodservice, B2B, FMCG, hospitality, professional equipment, or related sectors is a strong advantage.
- Strong commercial acumen, including sales management, pricing, channel strategy, and CRM-driven decision making.
- Business degree preferred.
- Fluent in English
