Head of Sales
The Head of Sales will take ownership of commercial growth across multiple service lines, with a particular focus on trading, market execution and market-led solutions, alongside advisory and consultancy services.
We are particularly interested in commercial leaders who have built their careers selling within a trading or markets environment. You may have worked alongside traders, brokers, market analysts or commodity specialists, selling market-based products and solutions to sophisticated corporate clients. You do not need to have been a trader yourself, but you should be comfortable operating in an environment where pricing, market movements, risk and timing directly influence client decisions and commercial opportunities.
You will be responsible for developing the sales strategy, identifying new growth opportunities and ensuring strong execution across both new business and existing accounts. A key part of the role will be understanding evolving market dynamics, spotting where these create opportunities for clients, and translating them into compelling commercial propositions and go-to-market strategies.
This isn't a role for someone looking to operate purely at a strategic level. We are looking for a leader who enjoys being close to the team, clients and market, combining strategic thinking with hands-on commercial execution.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
