About the Company

Fast-growing, multi-brand food franchise group built by operators who've scaled some of the UK's best-known consumer and delivery businesses. Founded a few years ago, the company has grown roughly 7x in three years, built a distribution network spanning hundreds of delivery kitchens and a growing number of high street sites, and processed millions of orders reaching the majority of the UK population. The model works: brands under this group have gone from launch to 100+ live franchise sites in under two months, with the strongest performers graduating from a delivery-only footprint into full physical stores. The first 18 months were the proving ground — now the business is moving from a ~20-franchise pilot into a much higher-volume, multi-brand scale-up phase.

About the Role

This is a player-coach role, not a purely hands-off leadership seat. You'll lead a small, high-output team of 2 salespeople while remaining out in the field yourself — personally reaching out to takeaway and independent operators to build and close the franchise pipeline. You'll own the commercial strategy end to end: from prospecting and qualifying new franchise partners through to signed agreements, working closely with the wider operations and launch teams to make sure every new site opens smoothly and fast. Success here looks like a scalable, repeatable sales engine — not a one-off push — that can support multiple brands launching and expanding at the same time.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

Responsibilities

  • Own and execute the franchise sales strategy across the current brand portfolio and future brand launches.
  • Build and run direct outbound activity — personally prospecting and pitching to takeaway and independent operators, not just managing a pipeline built by others.
  • Lead, coach and performance-manage a team of 2 salespeople, setting the standard through your own selling as much as through direction.
  • Own pipeline health end-to-end: prospecting volume, conversion rates, deal velocity, and net new franchise signings.
  • Partner closely with Operations and Launch teams to ensure new franchise partners are onboarded quickly and correctly the first time.
  • Report performance, pipeline forecasts, and strategic recommendations directly to senior leadership.
  • Help shape and refine the sales playbook as the model scales across new brands and regions.

Qualifications

  • Strong track record in outbound, franchise, or multi-site B2B sales, ideally selling into small business owners or independent operators.
  • Comfortable operating with a high degree of ambiguity in an early-stage or fast-scaling environment.
  • Some management or mentoring experience is a plus, but the priority is someone who can lead by doing.

Required Skills

  • Confident, outgoing, and naturally persuasive — this role lives or dies on the strength of direct relationships with independent operators.
  • Genuinely comfortable doing the doing, not just directing it — hands-on prospecting and closing is core to the role, not a fallback.
  • Resilient and self-motivated, able to generate momentum without waiting to be told what to do next.
  • Sharp commercial instincts — can read a deal, a territory, and a P&L.

Preferred Skills

  • A track record of building something out from scratch or early-stage — a new territory, a new market launch, a founding sales function — rather than only maintaining an existing pipeline.
  • Exposure to hospitality, food, POS/payments, or franchise-adjacent sectors is useful but not required.
  • Experience managing or closely mentoring even a small team.

Pay range and compensation package

  • £80k basic salary, £120k+ OTE, uncapped monthly commission.
  • Hybrid working — 1-2 days from home per week, with regular office and field-based time.
  • Equity/share options participation.
  • 25 days holiday + bank holidays + your birthday off.
  • Healthcare cash plan and an employee assistance programme.
  • Company laptop and phone provided.
  • Genuine early-stage scale-up progression — this function is being built out as the company grows, with responsibility from day one.
