Ready to take your career global? Make your mark at one of the biggest names in payments. We’re looking for a Head of Sales to join our ever-evolving Cross Sales team and help shape the future of global commerce.
About the team
The Cross Sales team drives revenue growth and customer retention across a portfolio of SMB customers by increasing product adoption, identifying new opportunities, and strengthening existing customer relationships.
What you’ll own
- Develop and execute growth strategies to increase revenue, profitability and customer retention, ensuring alignment with the organisation’s long-term objectives and commercial priorities.
- Drive the transformation of the Cross Sales business through data-led portfolio management, improved commercial execution and sustainable growth initiatives.
- Provide strategic leadership for the Cross Sales portfolio, taking accountability for commercial performance, organisational capability and the delivery of long-term business outcomes. Foster a high-performance culture focused on accountability, customer value and continuous improvement.
- Lead and develop a multi-layer sales leadership team, building leadership capability, strengthening succession planning and developing future talent to ensure sustained business performance and growth.
- Manage and inspire the business development function, providing clear direction, coaching and performance oversight to achieve revenue, retention and sales targets while driving high levels of engagement and productivity.
- Collaborate with senior stakeholders across the business, influencing strategic decisions, aligning priorities and ensuring successful delivery of key transformation and growth programmes.
- Prepare and present executive-level reports and insights, communicating business performance, pipeline health, forecasts, risks and strategic recommendations to support informed decision-making and business planning.

What you’ll bring
- Proven senior sales leadership experience, leading large, multi-layer teams through periods of growth, transformation and change while consistently delivering commercial outcomes.
- Exceptional leadership and talent development capability, with a track record of building high-performing teams, developing future leaders and creating strong succession pipelines.
- Strategic commercial acumen, with experience translating business strategy into clear execution plans that deliver sustainable revenue growth, customer retention and profitability.
- Strong performance leadership, establishing a culture of accountability through robust target setting, coaching, governance and performance management frameworks.
- Expertise in revenue growth and portfolio expansion, driving customer value through cross-selling, upselling, retention strategies and data-led opportunity identification.
- Proven change leadership skills, successfully influencing and leading organisational transformation, embedding new ways of working and delivering lasting business improvements.
- Executive stakeholder management and influencing, building trusted relationships across senior leadership teams and aligning stakeholders behind strategic priorities and business objectives.
- Data-driven decision-making capability, leveraging insights, trends and commercial performance metrics to inform strategy, prioritise investment and drive business outcomes.
- Passion for culture, capability and organisational development, creating an inclusive, high-performance environment that promotes engagement, continuous improvement and long-term success.
