The company has an established product, existing customers, and a healthy pipeline of opportunities. Having reached its current stage largely through founder-led sales, the business is now looking to build a more structured and repeatable sales operation.
This is very much a builder role.

As the business grows, you'll recruit and lead the wider commercial team.

You'll Be Responsible For
- Owning new business revenue and the overall sales strategy.
- Personally leading enterprise sales opportunities and closing new customers.
- Reviewing the existing pipeline and identifying the strongest opportunities for growth.

- Establishing appropriate CRM, forecasting, reporting, and commercial KPIs.
- Developing the company's approach to enterprise prospecting and pipeline generation.
- Working closely with the founders and wider leadership team on commercial strategy.
- Recruiting and developing the sales team as revenue grows.
- Creating a commercial function capable of supporting significant ARR growth.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

This isn't a role for someone looking to inherit a large, established sales organisation.
It would suit someone who enjoys building, is comfortable operating alongside founders, and wants significant ownership over how a commercial organisation develops.
We're particularly interested in people who have previously helped take a B2B software business through a significant period of revenue growth.
