We are partnering with a growing UK EV infrastructure business that is looking to appoint a Head of Sales UK to lead the next stage of its commercial growth. The company operates within the DC charging and fleet electrification market, developing infrastructure solutions for large organisations with complex charging requirements.

The Role

This is a hands-on sales leadership position. You'll take responsibility for UK commercial performance while remaining personally active in the market. The business is looking for someone who enjoys creating new opportunities, opening enterprise accounts, and taking complex sales cycles through to signed revenue. You will initially lead a small commercial team, with the opportunity to grow the function as the business scales. This is not a role for someone looking to step away from frontline selling.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own and deliver against the UK sales target
  • Personally create, develop, and close new enterprise opportunities
  • Build qualified pipeline through proactive outbound activity
  • Identify and engage strategic target accounts across the UK
  • Develop relationships with senior commercial, operational, technical, and procurement stakeholders
  • Lead opportunities from initial engagement through discovery, solution development, proposal, negotiation, and contract signature
  • Build strong commercial cases around complex infrastructure requirements
  • Maintain momentum throughout longer enterprise sales cycles
  • Lead and develop a small sales team while continuing to carry a personal target
  • Coach sellers through live opportunities, customer meetings, and negotiations
  • Maintain accurate pipeline, forecasting, and commercial reporting
  • Work closely with senior leadership and technical teams to progress strategic opportunities
  • Support tenders, RFPs, and framework opportunities where commercially relevant
  • Maintain appropriate commercial discipline around pricing, margin, and deal quality
  • Bring customer and market feedback back into the wider business

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

What We Are Looking For

The strongest candidates will combine enterprise new business experience with genuine startup or scale-up experience. You should be able to demonstrate recent examples of opportunities that you personally originated and closed, rather than relying primarily on inherited accounts, inbound leads, or opportunities generated by a wider team.

We are particularly interested in candidates who can demonstrate:

  • Strong experience within DC charging, fleet electrification, or a closely related infrastructure market
  • Experience selling into large fleet, logistics, transport, public sector, infrastructure, or commercial customers
  • A strong track record of winning new enterprise business
  • Evidence of personally opening accounts from cold
  • Experience carrying and delivering an individual revenue target
  • Experience selling complex technical solutions
  • Experience introducing new or emerging propositions to customers
  • Strong outbound and account development capability
  • Experience navigating multi-stakeholder enterprise sales cycles
  • Commercial confidence around proposals, negotiation, and procurement
  • Experience working within a startup, scale-up, or similarly entrepreneurial environment
  • The ability to operate effectively without a large support structure or established inbound engine
  • Leadership or coaching experience alongside continued personal selling
  • A practical, accountable, and commercially driven approach

The Opportunity

This is an opportunity to join a business while it is still small enough for your impact to be highly visible. You will work closely with the CEO, take significant responsibility for UK growth, and help shape the commercial team as the company develops.

For the right person, equity will form part of the wider opportunity, giving you the ability to participate in the value you help create as the business grows.

If of interest, please apply directly through this advert or contact Sheraz Adil for a confidential introductory conversation about the opportunity.
