Head of Sales - Europe

£50,000 - £60,000 + £20,000 - £30,000 OTE

Hybrid | Bolton | European Travel

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Head of Sales - Europe to take ownership of international growth for a fast-growing consumer brand.

Based from the company's Bolton office, you'll be responsible for managing and developing key European accounts while identifying and winning new business across established and emerging markets.

This is a hands-on commercial role, combining account management, business development and international market expansion.

The Role

As Head of Sales - Europe, you will:

  • Take ownership of European sales performance and revenue growth.
  • Manage, develop and grow existing customer and distributor relationships.
  • Identify and secure new business opportunities across key European markets.
  • Develop strong relationships with wholesalers, distributors, retailers and other commercial partners.
  • Identify opportunities to enter new markets and expand the company's presence across Europe.
  • Lead commercial negotiations, pricing discussions and contract agreements.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity and customer requirements.
  • Build and manage a strong European sales pipeline.
  • Work closely with internal teams to ensure successful delivery for customers.
  • Travel regularly across Europe, including markets such as Germany, Spain, Poland and the Czech Republic, to meet customers and develop new opportunities.
  • Provide regular reporting on sales performance, pipeline and market development.

About You

We're looking for an experienced and commercially driven sales professional with a background within the vaping, tobacco, nicotine or a closely related industry.

You'll ideally have:

  • Proven experience in a senior sales, business development or commercial role.
  • Experience managing and growing accounts across European markets.
  • A strong track record of winning new business and developing long-term commercial relationships.
  • Industry experience within vaping, e-cigarettes, nicotine, tobacco, cigarettes or a closely related sector is essential.
  • Existing knowledge and understanding of European markets and routes to market.
  • Experience working with distributors, wholesalers, retailers or similar commercial partners.
  • Strong negotiation and commercial skills.
  • Excellent relationship-building and communication skills.
  • A proactive, entrepreneurial approach with the ability to identify and pursue opportunities independently.
  • Willingness and flexibility to travel extensively across Europe.
  • European language skills would be advantageous but are not essential.
