Head of Sales, Europe

Salary: 80-95k Base + 30k OTE Bonus + Stock options

Location: Putney Bridge, London

The role:

Right now, we're seeking an experienced Head of Sales, Europe to lead our new business and customer success teams across UK, France and Germany in particular. This is an incredible opportunity to take our European presence with job advertisers to the next level, making a difference by structuring and motivating a team across Europe, building important relations with key media agencies and enterprises and translating Adzuna’s hiring offering to market demand.

You’ll be leading a team of 8 working alongside our Global head of Partnerships and CMO. The new business and customer success team will benefit from your experience to date but even more important is the passion you bring to work every day. You will strive for excellence, try new things, inspire and engage those around you and feel ownership of overall company success as well as pride in doing your bit.

Like everyone here, you will act like an owner, be a team player and make a difference. It’s an opportunity to work with a smart team led by experienced management and dedicated and passionate Founders. You have the chance to own your and the company’s growth in terms of:

  • Leading a European cross-office new business and customer success team that delivers candidate sourcing solutions to some of the largest brands in Europe
  • Own the Revenue number, Team KPI’s and motivate, develop, grow the team
  • Own some of the most important client and/or media agency stakeholder relationships personally
  • Help translate a global sales strategy into a local execution
  • Support defining the go-to-market of solutions that we are actively developing using our 15 years of experience paired with the latest technologies

It’s not an easy feat, but our aim is to create a business of which we are all proud and an environment where you will love to be, where you can be yourself to do what you do best.

We don’t like to put people in boxes, but you’re likely to be able to demonstrate experience of or aptitude for much of the below:

  • Able to bring operational discipline, structure and motivation to a cross-office European team; balancing new business with customer success/account management functions
  • Demonstrate experience in managing multiple markets, products and client segments and adjusting towards the biggest opportunities
  • Naturally influence and support the company’s B2B Marketing function and be confident in hosting webinars and representing the company at industry events
  • Continuous improvement mentality
  • Excellent internal and external rapport builder/ people skills, establishing strong relationships
  • The ability to advocate for good ideas regardless of where they come from
  • Strong numerical skills, able to analyse and optimise campaigns.
  • Fluency in English and strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Incredible work ethic, drive and passion

It’s a bonus if you have:

  • Deployed AI tool to improve Sales team effectiveness
  • Worked in Ad tech, marketplaces or Media buying companies
  • Additional language skills: French or German preferred
