Head of Sales Europe

International Manufacturer – ProAV / Broadcast Technology

Location: UK based | Europe-wide remit

We are conducting a confidential search for a senior Head of Sales Europe on behalf of an established international manufacturer within the ProAV and broadcast technology sector.

This is a hands-on sales leadership position with responsibility for an established European field sales team and an eight-figure regional business.

The Opportunity

The successful candidate will lead a multi-country team of Regional Sales Managers across Europe, with responsibility for coaching, motivating and driving the team to generate new business and deliver sustainable revenue growth.

This is not a personal-contributor sales role. The focus is on getting the best from an experienced sales team: creating greater commercial discipline, increasing proactive business development, improving forecasting accuracy and ensuring clear accountability for performance.

The role requires someone equally comfortable developing people, interrogating a pipeline, challenging a forecast and working cross-functionally to ensure the wider business is prepared to support customer demand.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach and develop a multi-country team of Regional Sales Managers across Europe.
  • Drive a proactive business development culture, ensuring the sales team creates opportunities rather than relying solely on inbound or channel-generated demand.
  • Set clear expectations, KPIs and accountability across the sales organisation.
  • Improve forecasting accuracy, pipeline visibility and Salesforce/CRM discipline.
  • Drive revenue growth across both direct customer relationships and established reseller/distribution channels.
  • Work closely with Operations to provide accurate forward-looking demand and sales forecasts.
  • Strengthen pricing discipline, commercial consistency and sales execution across Europe.
  • Partner effectively with Product Management, Marketing and Operations to translate market opportunities into commercial results.
  • Coach and support the team on major opportunities without becoming the primary salesperson.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
