VACANCY: Head of Sales - Gas

AVK UK is part of the AVK Group, a global market leader in the design, manufacture, and supply of valves, pipe fittings, hydrants, and flow control equipment for the Water, Waste Water, Oil and Gas industries.

As we continue to grow, we are looking for an ambitious and commercially focused Head of Sales – Gas, to lead our Gas Sales Team and play a key role in shaping the future of our business.

THE OPPORTUNITY

As Head of Sales – Gas, you will be responsible for leading AVK's Gas Sales Team, developing and executing growth strategies, managing key customer relationships, and ensuring the successful delivery of sales targets and business objectives.

You'll work closely with senior stakeholders across the business to strengthen customer engagement, expand market presence, and drive sustainable growth.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Developing and delivering AVK’s Gas sales growth and engagement strategy.
  • Leading, motivating and developing a high-performing national sales team.
  • Building and strengthening relationships with key customers and industry stakeholders.
  • Driving revenue growth, product mix performance and geographical expansion.
  • Owning customer engagement plans and ensuring excellent customer experience.
  • Managing key account strategies and contract negotiations.
  • Working cross-functionally with Commercial, Finance, Logistics and Service Delivery teams.
  • Monitoring performance against budgets, objectives and KPIs.
  • Representing AVK at industry events and customer meetings.

What We’re Looking For

  • Significant experience in a senior sales leadership role.
  • Experience managing and developing successful sales teams.
  • Strong strategic planning and account management capability.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and relationship-building skills.
  • Commercial awareness with the ability to manage budgets and performance metrics.
  • Strong analytical and organisational skills.
  • Regular UK wide travel is required in this role.
  • A proactive, dynamic and results-driven approach.
