About Us
We don't mean to brag... but we're an award-winning place to work!
Mi PA provides Virtual PA, Reception and Telephone Answering services to businesses of all sizes, but we're not just virtual assistants. Over the last decade, we've carved out a niche as the ultimate support service, delivering a world-class experience built on passion, trust, and intelligence.
Our mission is simple: to be the number one support company for growing businesses.
Why You'll Love Working Here
- A seat at the top table from day one: This isn't a role where you wait years to earn a voice. You'll join our MD's Senior Leadership Team from the moment you start, closing your own deals and helping shape where the whole business goes next, in the same first week.
- A ground-floor opportunity: You won't inherit someone else's team or someone else's numbers. You'll build the sales department from the ground up, starting by carrying and hitting the target yourself, then recruiting, onboarding and leading your own team once you've proven the process works. Genuine autonomy, real ownership, and direct backing from our MD.
- An environment we're proud of: we're a close-knit team of 30 passionate professionals (plus an office dog – the real boss). It's a fast-paced, ever-growing environment where we believe work should be enjoyable as well as rewarding.
- Genuine career growth: This is the leadership step you haven't had anywhere else yet. Prove the model, build the team, and your role keeps growing with it, no ceiling on how far you take the department, or how far it takes you.
- Real earning potential: A competitive base of £40,000–£45,000 depending on experience, with an OTE of £58,000–£60,000 in year one, and no ceiling on what you can earn beyond that if you bring in more sales.
- The day-to-day: At Mi PA HQ you'll have your choice of snacks, an on-site gym (to work those snacks off), all-day Spotify, and regular team coffees, lunches, and socials.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

What Will I Be Doing?
Mi PA's sales function needs building and owning, that's where you come in. You'll own revenue delivery across both our service lines, Mi PA and Mi Call, from lead generation right through to closed business.
In practice, that means:
- Hitting target, then building the team. In your first six months, you'll carry the full sales quota solo, proving out the process before you recruit. Once you're consistently hitting target (typically around month 3–4), you'll lead the recruitment, onboarding and ongoing coaching of your first hire, growing the team from there.
- Owning revenue across both products. You'll be responsible for hitting a combined monthly revenue target spanning both our PA and Call services, working within our existing commission structure.
- Generating your own leads. You'll own the sales-led side of the funnel, cold calling, LinkedIn outreach and direct mail, while working closely with our MD on marketing-generated leads, making sure they're followed up fast.
- Owning the sales process. You'll take charge of our CRM discipline, our discovery call standards, and our existing cold-calling script, continuously improving it based on what actually works on real calls.
- Shaping the wider business. As part of our Senior Leadership Team from day one, you'll bring what you're hearing on the phones into the room, informing decisions on strategy, service and growth well beyond your own numbers.
- Reporting and forecasting. You'll give our MD clear, honest reporting on revenue and pipeline, realistic forecasts, and you'll hold budget authority over your own team's direct costs, like recruitment.
At Mi PA, success isn't measured by activity. It's measured by the revenue you bring in and the team you build around you.
Is This Role For Me?
If you're nodding along to the below, we'd love to meet you.
- You're currently a top performer in B2B sales (services background preferred), consistently beating target, but you've hit a ceiling where you are, with no real next step into leadership in sight.
- You've never had the title, but people already treat you like you should, newer starters come to you for advice, and you're who others measure themselves against.
- You want to build something that's genuinely yours, your own process, your own team, your own results, not step into a department someone else already shaped.
- You're confident picking up the phone yourself, this role starts on the tools, not managing other people's calls from a desk.
- You're comfortable using a CRM (we use Pipedrive) to keep your pipeline honest and your forecasting accurate.
- You want more than a sales job, you want a genuine voice in how the business is run, not just a number handed to you to hit.
- You're reliable, resilient, and proactive — you don't wait to be told, you find solutions.
