HEAD OF SALES – FOOD WHOLESALE | DERBYSHIRE
£50,000 STARTING SALARY + UNCAPPED COMMISSION
Salary negotiable depending on experience
FOOD INDUSTRY EXPERIENCE IS ESSENTIAL
Do you know the food industry, its customers and have a proven track record of growing sales?
We’re looking for an ambitious, commercially driven Head of Sales to lead growth for an established food wholesale business in Derbyshire.
This is a key leadership role for someone who can combine industry knowledge, commercial thinking and strong sales leadership to deliver measurable results.
Experience in food wholesale and foodservice is essential. You’ll understand the market, know how to build lasting customer relationships and have the confidence to identify and convert new opportunities.
THE OPPORTUNITY
You’ll take ownership of the sales function and play a central role in shaping the company’s next stage of growth.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Leading, supporting and developing the sales team
- Driving new business and revenue growth
- Growing and strengthening key customer accounts
- Building relationships across the food sector
- Identifying new markets and commercial opportunities
- Creating and delivering the sales strategy
- Setting and managing targets and performance
- Using market insight and data to guide decisions

Our focus is on providing customers with the products, service and reliability they need to keep their kitchens running.

This is a hands-on, fast-moving food business — which is why genuine experience within food wholesale or foodservice is essential for this role.

THE PACKAGE
£50,000 starting salary
Negotiable depending on experience
- Uncapped commission
