Cornish Premier Pasties is a leading manufacturer of authentic Cornish pasties and savoury pastry products, proudly produced in Cornwall and supplied to customers across retail, wholesale, foodservice and hospitality sectors throughout the UK.

With ambitious plans for continued growth, we are seeking a commercially driven Head of Sales to play a key role in expanding our customer base, strengthening existing partnerships and helping drive the future success of the business.
The Opportunity
This is a standalone role reporting directly to the Operations Director and General Manager, offering significant autonomy and the opportunity to make a real impact. You will be responsible for developing and delivering our sales strategy, growing existing customer relationships, identifying new opportunities, and driving profitable revenue growth across the business. We're looking for someone who enjoys building relationships, winning new business, and taking ownership of commercial performance.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement the company's sales strategy.
- Manage and grow relationships with existing customers.
- Identify and secure new business opportunities across retail, wholesale, foodservice and hospitality sectors.
- Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline.
- Lead commercial negotiations and agree customer contracts.
- Work closely with operational teams to ensure customer requirements are met.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity and emerging opportunities.
- Prepare sales forecasts, budgets and performance reports.
- Represent Cornish Premier Pasties at customer meetings, trade shows and industry events.
About You
You will be a proactive and results-driven sales professional with a proven track record of delivering growth and building strong customer relationships.
Essential
- Experience in a senior sales, business development or commercial role.
- Proven ability to win new business and develop key accounts.
- Strong commercial awareness and negotiation skills.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of results.
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel.

Desirable
- Experience within food manufacturing, FMCG or foodservice.
- Knowledge of retail, wholesale, hospitality or convenience sectors.
- Experience working with frozen or bakery products.
