Head of Sales | FMCG | B2B Sales | Foodservice | Wholesale | Retail
Hybrid Working (1 day in the office near Liverpool, 4 from home)
Most sales roles ask you to hit a target. This one asks you to build something. You'll work with a huge array of FMCG products across food and non-food, and take ownership of implementing new business development across foodservice, wholesale, retail and distribution. You'll also have the freedom to decide how you grow it. The strategy isn't handed to you. You'll shape it.
You'll inherit a handful of customers with genuine growth potential, while focusing on winning new B2B business. With a huge FMCG product range behind you, you'll be able to recommend alternative products, solve supply challenges, maximise margins and uncover opportunities that competitors simply can't.
And this isn't where it stops.
As the business grows, so will your role. You'll have the autonomy and budget to recruit, develop and lead your own sales team, giving you the chance to create the culture and performance standards you believe in. This is a brand new role in the business, and you decide where it leads.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
Start with a chat, not a search bar
Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
