Head of Sales & Marketing

Company Overview
KSF Global is a growing international supplier of bespoke retail displays, store fixtures, digital retail technology, and integrated retail solutions. We work with major retailers and global brands, supporting projects from concept design and engineering through prototyping, manufacturing, warehousing, distribution, and installation.
As we enter our next stage of growth of broadened product offers (fixture + digital tech) and verticals (retail, hospitality, health wellness, education), we are looking for an experienced Head of Sales & Marketing to lead our commercial growth strategy, strengthen our sales pipeline, and build a more structured and scalable approach to new business, account development, and marketing.
Role Summary
This is a senior, hands-on leadership role for someone who combines strong B2B sales capability with strategic marketing awareness.
You will take ownership of KSF's sales and marketing performance, with a particular focus on:
- Winning new customers
- Developing a strong and predictable sales pipeline
- Increasing revenue from existing accounts
- Strengthening inbound lead generation
- Developing strategic partner channels
- Improving sales processes, forecasting, and conversion
- Building a high-performing sales and marketing function
You will work closely with the Managing Director, Head of Accounts, Operations, and Product teams to turn KSF's growth strategy into measurable results.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Growth & New Business
- Develop and implement the sales strategy to achieve agreed revenue and growth targets.
- Build and maintain a strong, qualified, and predictable new-business pipeline.
- Lead targeted outbound activity focused on priority retailers, brands, and strategic prospects.
- Personally support the development and conversion of major opportunities.
- Lead pitches, proposals, tenders, and commercial negotiations where required.
- Improve lead qualification, opportunity management, conversion rates, and sales discipline.
- Ensure effective use of CRM, pipeline reporting, and sales forecasting.
- Establish clear sales targets, KPIs, and accountability.
New Market Development
- Identify and assess opportunities in new sectors, customer groups, products, and geographic markets.
- Develop practical go-to-market plans for selected growth opportunities.
- Research market potential, customer needs, competitor activity, and routes to market.
- Build initial target-account lists, partnerships, and sales pipelines within new markets.
- Test new propositions and adjust commercial approaches based on results.
- Work closely with Product, Marketing, and Operations to ensure KSF can successfully support new market opportunities.

Marketing Leadership
- Develop and oversee a marketing strategy aligned with KSF's commercial objectives.
- Strengthen inbound lead generation and overall market visibility.
- Guide digital marketing, SEO, AI/search visibility, social media, email campaigns, content, case studies, and events.
- Ensure marketing activity is focused on priority customer segments and measurable commercial outcomes.
- Improve the quality and consistency of sales and marketing collateral.
- Monitor marketing performance, lead quality, conversion, and return on investment.
Team Leadership & Development
- Lead, coach, and develop the Sales and Marketing team.
- Build clear roles, responsibilities, objectives, and KPIs across the function.
- Improve individual and team sales capability through coaching, structured reviews, and development plans.
- Introduce consistent sales processes, pipeline reviews, and performance management.
- Identify skills or resource gaps and support future recruitment as the business grows.
- Develop a high-performance culture focused on accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Account Growth
- Work closely with the Head of Accounts to identify opportunities for customer growth, retention, and cross-selling.
- Support the development of clear strategies for stable, growing, and newly acquired accounts.
- Maintain senior-level relationships with strategically important customers where appropriate.
- Ensure newly acquired customers are effectively handed over to the Account and Project teams following successful initial conversion.
Strategic Partnerships
- Develop relationships with technology providers, software partners, and complementary businesses.
- Create referral, joint-selling, and joint-marketing opportunities.
- Build a measurable pipeline of partner-generated opportunities.
- Support development of joint customer propositions and demonstrations.
Commercial Performance
- Take ownership of sales performance, pipeline, and revenue forecasting.
- Maintain strong awareness of gross margin and the commercial quality of opportunities.
- Support pricing strategy and major commercial negotiations.
- Balance revenue growth with profitability, risk, and operational capability.
- Provide clear and regular sales and marketing performance reporting to the Managing Director and senior management team.
Skills and Experience
Essential - Sales
- Strong experience in senior B2B sales, business development, or sales leadership.
- Proven track record of winning significant new customer accounts.
- Evidence of achieving or exceeding revenue and sales targets.
- Experience developing and managing complex or consultative sales opportunities.
- Strong new-business prospecting and relationship-development capability.
- Experience leading, coaching, and developing sales and/or marketing teams.
- Demonstrable experience improving sales processes, pipeline management, and forecasting.
- Experience developing or implementing go-to-market strategies.
- Evidence of successfully entering new markets, sectors, territories, or customer segments.
- Strong commercial negotiation and presentation skills.
- Good understanding of marketing and its role in generating qualified sales opportunities.
- Strong CRM and data-driven sales management skills.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and influencing skills.
- Ability to combine strategic thinking with a hands-on approach.
- Strong cross-functional collaboration skills.

Essential - Marketing
- Proven experience developing and delivering B2B marketing strategies aligned with sales and revenue growth.
- Strong understanding of digital marketing, SEO, AI/search visibility, content, email, and social media.
- Experience generating and nurturing qualified inbound leads and improving marketing-to-sales conversion.
- Ability to develop targeted campaigns for specific sectors, customer groups, and new markets.
- Experience creating strong value propositions, case studies, sales collateral, and sector-focused content.
- Good understanding of account-based marketing, events, trade shows, and partner marketing.
- Strong analytical skills with experience measuring lead generation, conversion, campaign ROI, and marketing-generated pipeline.
- Experience using CRM, Google Analytics, Search Console, and digital marketing tools.
- Ability to lead and develop marketing team members and external agencies.
- Strong understanding of how Sales and Marketing work together to create sustainable revenue growth.

Salary and Benefits
£65000 Basic + Bonus + Benefits
