Head of Sales – UK

As the Head of Sales – UK, you will take ownership of Azeus' UK sales function and drive growth across both the public and private sectors. You will lead the UK sales strategy, build and manage the sales pipeline, develop new business opportunities, and build strong relationships with senior decision-makers, while driving performance against sales targets.

The role covers Azeus' diverse portfolio of SaaS and technology solutions, including Convene Board Portal, Convene Entities, Assure, and Presgo, with the flexibility to position solutions individually or, where relevant, as part of an integrated governance suite. The role will also build, hire, coach, and develop a team of approximately 3–5 sales professionals, working closely with Marketing and Customer Success to drive growth and expand Azeus' presence in the UK market.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own the UK sales pipeline, forecast, and weekly sales rhythm, ensuring clear visibility of opportunities, progress, and expected results.
  • Develop and execute the UK sales strategy across both the public and private sectors, identifying priority markets, emerging opportunities, and customer segments.
  • Drive new business development by identifying, qualifying, and converting opportunities, and managing the full sales cycle from prospecting through negotiation and closing.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients and key stakeholders, developing a deep understanding of their needs and identifying opportunities for growth.
  • Build, hire, coach, and develop a high-performing sales team of approximately 3–5 sales professionals, including determining the appropriate team structure and establishing a strong sales culture.
  • Develop the private-sector market, with a focus on relevant segments such as corporate service providers, fund administrators, and financial services firms.
  • Position Azeus' product portfolio effectively, articulating the value and differentiators of individual solutions and the broader governance suite according to customer needs.
  • Monitor market trends, emerging opportunities, new product developments, and competitive activity to inform sales strategy and strengthen Azeus' position in the UK market.
  • Negotiate commercial agreements and close deals effectively, balancing customer needs with Azeus' commercial objectives.
  • Provide regular sales, revenue, pipeline, and forecast reports to management, together with realistic projections and insights on UK sales performance.
  • Work closely with Marketing to develop UK demand-generation initiatives, generate leads, and strengthen the sales pipeline.
  • Work closely with Customer Success to identify cross-sell opportunities, support customer expansion, and generate referrals.
  • Represent Azeus at relevant industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to generate leads, build relationships, and strengthen the company's presence in the UK market.
  • Collaborate with Product and relevant internal teams to share customer feedback and market insights that can support product development and enhancement.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
