I am working with an International Manufacturing Company is looking for a Head of Sales Operations to lead and shape our Sales Operations function.
About the Role
Reporting to the Director of Account Management and Sales Operations, you'll lead, manage and develop their Sales Operations team — owning the end-to-end workflow from quotation through to final delivery and invoicing.
You'll partner closely with Corporate and National Sales to drive sustainable, profitable growth across all sales channels, while optimising service centre performance through smart processes, strong performance management and cross-functional collaboration.
What You'll Do
- Lead and develop the Sales Administration and Order Processing teams.
- Assess, document and structure current workflows and responsibilities.
- Establish and manage a shared service centre spanning all sales channels.
- Own the quote-to-order and order-to-cash processes end to end.
- Drive process optimisation — automating manual workarounds and championing system/technology upgrades.
- Manage invoicing forecasts and support contract termination administration.
- Track and improve key performance metrics (quote/order accuracy, processing speed, on-time delivery).
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Commercial, Logistics, Workshop Operations and Customer Service.
- Own the Sales Operations budget and cost centre.
- Lead organisational and process change initiatives.

What We're Looking For
- Proven experience managing commercial administration, sales support or order operations.
- Strong leadership skills with experience managing teams in a service centre/KPI-driven environment.
- Strong commercial and analytical capability, including data and forecast analysis.
- Comfortable leading cross-functionally within a matrix organisation.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- A proactive, continuous-improvement mindset with a passion for customer excellence.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics or similar (preferred).

The Package
- Base Salary: Up to £78,000 per annum.
- Car Allowance: £6,000 per annum.
- Annual Bonus: 10% – 20% (performance-based).
- Pension: Matched contribution scheme.
- Hybrid working - Onsite 3-5 days per week.
