Role Overview
Reporting to the Senior Head of Sales Operations, the role holder is responsible for leading a team of field-based Account Managers to deliver MFS Qualitative [Dealer Oversight & Regulatory] & Quantitative [Commercial] priorities and objectives supporting Renault, Dacia, and Alpine Brands specifically. This role is also certified under the FCA Senior Managers and Certification Regime (SM&CR).
Individual Role & Responsibilities
Achievement of the commercial sales objectives including, but not limited to, unit volume, penetrations and retention, NIM, and Commercial Contribution whilst ensuring good customer outcomes.
- To ensure the maximum value-add proposition for our dealer investors, utilizing all available products and services MFS has to offer.
- Coordinate, attend, and present at Dealer Operational Reviews.
- Negotiate Investor used car core packages, pricing, and offers, liaising with Marketing & Pricing teams.
- Complete weekly sales forecasts.
- Key contributor to bi-weekly Commercial Touchpoint meetings & Monthly Marketing & Commercial Committee.
- Comply with all regulatory obligations, company procedures, and standards.
Responsibilities and Accountabilities
SM&CR Responsibilities
- Ensure the business area is directed and managed effectively, in line with SM&CR governance expectations.
- Comply with SM&CR requirements, including training, annual attestation, and ongoing Fit & Proper standards.
- Work with People and Compliance to maintain accurate regulatory documentation (e.g., Role Profile, SoR, regulatory references).
- Adhere to FCA/PRA Conduct Rules and Senior Manager Conduct Rules and promote appropriate conduct, behaviours, and accountability across the business.
- Ensure effective delegation, with clear oversight, accountability, and documentation of responsibilities.
- Maintain robust handover arrangements for absences or role transitions, including key risks and priorities.
- Embed Consumer Duty principles in decision-making and day-to-day activities.
- Where applicable, fulfil responsibilities as a Material Risk Taker, aligning with governance and remuneration requirements.

Significant Management Responsibilities
The role holds overall responsibility for the Renault Group Brands sales function, providing strategic leadership and oversight across the Renault, Dacia, and Alpine dealer networks. The position is accountable for the delivery of sales and commercial objectives, leadership and performance management of the field-based Account Manager team, development and execution of sales strategy, and the management of key dealer relationships to support business growth and regulatory compliance.
2.1 Conduct Rules
As a certified position, the job holder is individually accountable for ensuring that the firm is managed responsibly, with appropriate oversight and governance. The role must be carried out in full compliance with the FCA and PRA Individual Conduct Rules and the Senior Manager Conduct Rules, recognizing the elevated responsibilities that accompany directorship and regulatory accountability. This includes adherence to expectations relating to Non-Financial Misconduct, recognizing that behaviours such as bullying, harassment, discrimination, or other inappropriate conduct may breach Conduct Rules and impact fitness and propriety.

2.2 Key Skills and Experience
- Strong communication, presentation, influencing, and negotiation skills.

- Strong prioritization, planning, and organizational capability.
- Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint.
- Extensive motor industry knowledge, with motor finance experience.
- Experience working with OEMs and dealer networks.
- Previous line management or leadership experience.

2.3 Stakeholder Management
- Manage a team of up to 8 field-based Account Managers.
- Build and manage relationships with Renault, Dacia & Alpine dealer networks at investor and site level.
- Foster relationships with key stakeholders across MFS to support and influence the development of commercial initiatives.
- Work collaboratively with OEM counterparts to achieve joint objectives.
- Work with the Dealer Oversight Team to resolve oversight breaches and escalated cases.
2.4 Risk Oversight
- Identify, assess, and mitigate key risks within the remit of the role.
- Ensure adherence to relevant risk management policies and procedures.
- Escalate issues and report risks appropriately.
2.5 Leadership & Culture
The role provides leadership to a team of field-based Account Managers and is responsible for fostering a culture of accountability, integrity, and high performance.
- Sets clear expectations regarding conduct, behaviour, and performance standards.
- Promotes compliance with FCA Conduct Rules, Consumer Duty, and company policies.
- Encourages open communication, constructive challenge, and timely escalation of issues.

- Promotes collaborative working across MFS, OEM partners, and dealer networks to achieve shared objectives.
- Supports a culture where risks, concerns, and potential breaches are identified and addressed promptly and transparently.
