HEAD OF SALES, RETAIL AND HOSPITALITY

LEC ROBOTICS

Fulham, London | Full time, office based five days a week | Immediate start | Reporting to the Group CEO

THE OPPORTUNITY

Robotics will be the biggest import and export industry of the next decade, and we are right at the beginning of the move. LEC Robotics is building the company that leads it in the UK, and we are looking for a Head of Sales who has spent their career at senior level in retail and hospitality, knows everybody, and can open the doors that matter while running a fast paced sales team.

This is not a role for someone who points from a distance. We want a go getter who picks up the phone to people they already know, gets in the room, closes alongside the team and builds the machine at the same time.

WHO WE ARE

LEC Robotics is part of London Export Corporation, one of the UK's longest established trading companies, founded in 1951 with more than seventy years of UK China trade history through the 48 Group. That heritage gives us trusted relationships across the global robotics manufacturing world that few companies anywhere can match.

We cover the full robotics ecosystem: distribution of leading commercial service robots across the UK, the ability to build robots with our manufacturing partners, our own software built by LEC AI, and deployment, integration and after sales. We build with the demand and we move very fast.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

Our Fulham headquarters is the House of Robotics: a working showroom where clients see robots operating live, with our offices above it. Clients walk in, see the future working, and leave with a plan.

THE ROLE

Own revenue for LEC Robotics across retail and hospitality.

  • Open senior doors. You have spent years in this industry and your contacts book is real: retail operations directors, hospitality group boards, estates and transformation leads, franchise owners. You get us into conversations that cold outreach never reaches.
  • Run the sales team. Lead, drive and grow the team, set the rhythm, manage the pipeline with discipline and hold a high bar. Player coach, not spectator.
  • Sell personally. Carry your own relationships and deals, demo at the House of Robotics, and show the team how it is done.
  • Build the machine. Pipeline structure, CRM discipline, demo days, sector campaigns, pricing and proposals that land in retail and hospitality boardrooms.

WHO YOU ARE

  • Senior, proven and connected in UK retail and hospitality. You have sold into this industry, or led within it, for many years, and the people who make buying decisions take your call.
  • A door opener and a closer. Evidence of winning major accounts through relationships and persistence.
  • A team leader who runs a fast paced sales floor: targets, accountability, energy.
  • Hungry and quick. This is a scale up environment, the days are full, and we move at speed. If that is not your natural pace, this is not the role.
  • Excited by robotics. You believe, as we do, that this is the biggest industry shift of the decade, and you want to be at the front of it.
  • Available to start right away, or very soon.
  • Based in or commutable to Fulham, London. This role is in person at the House of Robotics five days a week, with time out on the road with clients. It is not remote and not hybrid.
