The Role
As the Head of Sales - UK, you will take ownership of Azeus' UK sales function and drive growth across both the public and private sectors. You will lead the UK sales strategy, build and manage the sales pipeline, develop new business opportunities, and build strong relationships with senior decision-makers, while driving performance against sales targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve sales targets and expand our customer base in the UK market.
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships by partnering with them and understanding their needs.
- Identify emerging markets and market shifts while being fully aware of new products and competition status.
- Negotiate contracts and close agreements to maximize profits.
- Present sales, revenue, and expenses reports and realistic forecasts to the management team.
- Work closely with the marketing team to identify opportunities for campaigns, services, and distribution channels that will lead to an increase in sales.
- Attend industry events, conferences, and networking events to generate leads and build a presence in the UK market.
- Collaborate with the product development team to ensure client feedback is incorporated into product development.
- Own the UK sales pipeline, forecast, and weekly sales rhythm, ensuring clear visibility of opportunities, progress, and expected results.
- Build, hire, coach, and develop the UK sales team, including determining the appropriate team structure and creating a high-performing sales culture.
- Develop and execute sales strategies across the UK public and private sectors, identifying priority markets, industries, and customer segments.
- Drive new business development, from prospecting and opportunity generation through negotiation and closing, while building strong relationships with senior decision-makers.
- Work closely with Marketing to develop UK demand-generation initiatives and strengthen the sales pipeline.
- Partner with Customer Success to identify cross-sell opportunities, support customer expansion, and generate referrals.
- Position Azeus' product portfolio effectively, articulating the value of individual solutions as well as the broader governance suite according to customer needs.

Qualifications

- Proven work experience in Sales, Business Development, or a relevant role, preferably within the SaaS or technology industry, with a focus on B2B products.
- Must be a UK citizen
- Strong understanding of the UK market and the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with clients, prospects, and stakeholders at all levels.
- Proven ability to achieve sales targets and develop new business opportunities.
- Excellent negotiation, presentation, communication, and relationship-building skills, with the ability to engage effectively with senior-level stakeholders.
- Proven experience in leading and managing a sales team is a strong advantage.
- Demonstrable experience with CRM and sales-management software, such as Salesforce, HubSpot, or equivalent platforms.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
