Lead the Commercial Future of a Growing Manufacturing Group
We're partnering with a well-established and ambitious UK manufacturing business to recruit an experienced Head of Sales.
This is a rare opportunity to lead the commercial function across two complementary businesses serving the UK food manufacturing sector. One business is an established market leader with revenues exceeding £50 million, while the second is an innovative, high-growth business with significant expansion plans.
Reporting directly to the Group Sales & Marketing Director, this is a genuine succession opportunity to become their trusted commercial partner and play a key role in shaping the future direction of the Group.
If you're looking for a role where you can influence strategy, develop people and leave a lasting legacy, we'd love to hear from you.
The Opportunity
You'll lead a team of approximately 10 commercial professionals, taking responsibility for driving performance across both established and emerging product portfolios.
This is far more than a sales leadership role. You'll be responsible for introducing greater structure, accountability and commercial discipline across the sales function, while strengthening strategic customer relationships and supporting the next phase of growth.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
