Head of Security Operations
📍 Glasgow (Hybrid, 3 Days Onsite)
💰 £70,000 - £90,000
We're working with a rapidly growing cyber security organisation seeking a Head of Security Operations to lead and evolve its SOC, MDR and Incident Response capabilities.
This is a key leadership role where you'll be responsible for strategy, operational performance, team development, and the delivery of high-quality security services to a growing customer base.
What you'll be doing
- Leading and developing a high-performing Security Operations team
- Driving the SOC, MDR and Incident Response strategy
- Improving threat detection, threat hunting, and security automation capabilities
- Managing operational performance, KPIs, and service delivery
- Building strong relationships with customers and senior stakeholders
- Scaling people, processes, and technology to support continued growth

What we're looking for
- Proven experience leading high performing technical teams, preferably in an MSSP or Cyber Security focused environment
- Experience building and developing high-performing teams
- Excellent stakeholder management and leadership skills
Nice to have
- Strong background in Security Operations, MDR, Incident Response, or Cyber Defence
- Strong knowledge of SIEM, XDR, threat detection, and modern security operations
