Senior Security Leader

Strong industry salary, car/allowance, bonus and healthcare
Monday to Friday
Hybrid role - home working with regular time in ISS office and client sites across the UK

Here at ISS, as a leading Facilities Management provider we are looking to recruit an established senior Security Leader to join our central team, where you will in essence act as ISS' Security Authority across the UK operation. This will cover both "man guarding", Security Systems and Keyholding.

These services are delivered across a whole number of public and private sector contracts, ranging from Healthcare to Banking, delivered by a team of front line staff, local and regional leadership, aided by a number of subject matter experts and senior Security leadership.

You will manage this Senior team day to day while strategically looking to guide, improve and grow the ISS security offering, putting Security on the map inside and outside of the organisation.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a credible, progressive and highly experienced Security Lead to join a leader in the Facilities Management space where you can drive and shape strategy.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
