Head of IT Service Delivery & Operational Assurance
Remote (UK) with occasional UK & EU Travel
£100,000 - £130,000 + Bonus & Benefits
This is a high-impact leadership role focused on supplier governance, service assurance, and operational performance across a multi-supplier technology environment.
You'll be responsible for ensuring suppliers deliver against their commitments, driving service improvements, managing operational risk, and helping shape a mature governance-led operating model.
What you'll be doing
- Leading governance across strategic IT suppliers and outsourced partners.
- Holding suppliers accountable for service performance, SLAs, and contractual obligations.
- Owning cross-functional service assurance, operational resilience, and major incident governance.
- Driving improvements across Incident, Problem, Change, and Service Management processes.
- Supporting the evolution of the retained IT operating model.
- Working closely with senior stakeholders to improve service quality, accountability, and customer outcomes.

What we're looking for
- Experience leading IT Service Management, Service Delivery, SIAM, or IT Operations functions.
- Strong supplier management and vendor governance experience.
- Background working within outsourced or multi-supplier environments.
- Strong knowledge of ITIL and service management best practice.
- Experience driving operational improvement, governance, and service transformation.
- Ability to challenge suppliers constructively and influence senior stakeholders.
