Head of Shared Services
Oliver Sanderson is partnering with a leading listed business to appoint a Head of Shared Services.
Reporting to the Group Finance Director, you'll lead the Finance SSC across AP, AR, Credit Control, Payroll and Cash & Banking - with a clear mandate to improve performance, controls, cash and service delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, develop and retain a high-performing SSC team.
- Drive cash collection, DSO and aged debt performance.
- Strengthen controls, governance and transactional finance processes.
- Lead automation, standardisation and continuous improvement.
- Establish KPIs and SLAs that put performance and service at the heart of the function.
- Partner with Sales, Operations, Supply Chain and Treasury to solve problems and improve cash.
- Lead the SSC through the rollout of Velocity and wider finance transformation.

What we're looking for:
A proven Shared Services / transactional finance leader who knows how to build high-performing teams, improve processes and turn data into action.
- You'll be commercially minded, hands-on and confident leading change - with experience across AP, AR, credit, payroll and/or cash operations.
- PLC, logistics, transport, engineering, facilities or infrastructure experience would be advantageous.
