About the Role
I am supporting a private equity backed technology services business with the appointment of a Head of SI to lead and accelerate growth across its Systems Integrator channel.
The business has established relationships with several major global SIs and has built a significant existing revenue base. The opportunity now is to expand those relationships, open new areas of opportunity and move the commercial proposition further towards consulting, managed services and defined delivery outcomes.
This is a hands on sales leadership role for someone who understands how major SIs operate and knows how to turn senior relationships into revenue.
Responsibilities
The Head of SI will be responsible for:
- Expanding existing relationships across new accounts, sectors and technical practices
- Building relationships with account leaders, sector leaders, sales teams, presales teams and practice leaders
- Identifying client delivery gaps and creating commercially viable solutions
- Developing larger consulting, managed services and project based opportunities
- Generating new revenue across additional SI relationships
- Leading and developing an existing commercial team
- Helping reposition the business from resource provision towards services and outcomes

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
