Role Description
The Head of Social Media is a full-time, hybrid role based in Manchester, with flexibility for some work from home. This role leads Brazen PR’s social media vision and execution across platforms, overseeing strategy, content planning, and channel growth for a portfolio of consumer brands. - Developing integrated social media campaigns
- Collaborating with PR and creative teams
- Setting best practices for platform use
- Ensuring brand consistency and audience engagement
The Head of Social Media will manage social content calendars, guide community management, and use data and insights to optimize performance and report results to clients and internal stakeholders. The role also involves:
- Mentoring and managing social media specialists
- Staying ahead of emerging trends

Qualifications

- Strong Social Media Marketing skills, including channel management, content planning, and community engagement.
- Social Media Strategy and Media Planning skills to design and implement integrated, multi-channel campaigns.
- Public Relations and Communication skills to align social activity with broader PR narratives and client messaging.
- Ability to analyze social media metrics, derive insights, and present clear performance reports.
- Experience leading or managing teams, with a collaborative approach to cross-functional work.
- Familiarity with social media management tools, paid social platforms, and current digital trends.
- Prior experience in agency or brand-side roles; experience in consumer and retail sectors is beneficial.
- Relevant education or equivalent experience in marketing, communications, media, or a related field.
