Head of Social Media

London | Full-time, permanent

Magnetix is proud to partner with one of the most respected names in beauty, a brand built on genuine artistry, decades of expertise, and a loyal global community who trust its taste completely. As the brand enters its next exciting phase of growth, we're looking for a Head of Social Media who lives and breathes this world: someone who loves beauty, understands why a colour story or a technique matters, and wants to help that passion connect with people across every platform, Instagram, TikTok and YouTube, through to Facebook, Reddit, Redbook and whatever comes next.

The role

This role blends creative and strategic ownership of the brand's content world with genuinely hands-on craft. You'll work in close, daily partnership with the brand's Creative Director, helping bring her vision to life across four pillars, long-form editorial, fast-moving social, elevated brand and product storytelling, and paid, while also personally shaping, creating and posting content yourself.

It's a role with a real and rewarding nuance. The Creative Director is also the face of the brand, so this isn't about carving out your own creative identity, it's about a deep, genuine appreciation for someone else's artistry, and the skill to bring it to life with consistency, care and craft, whether that's a quarterly campaign or today's Reel. You'll move comfortably between calm, considered planning and fast, instinctive, in-the-moment execution and you'll know when a decision needs the Creative Director's eye, rather than assuming.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

  • Write and deliver the weekly organic social brief, and personally create or commission content across every platform
  • Guide and support a freelance content creator and a researcher, helping shape their work to the brief
  • Stay close to trends and culture, and know when and how the brand should join the conversation
  • Spot opportunities to give long-form or brand content a second life across other pillars
  • Bring performance insight back into planning, so every decision is grounded in what the community actually responds to
  • Champion consistency and quality across every piece of content, every platform, every time

  • Confident, current video editing skills, with the ability to cut a Reel or TikTok quickly and beautifully
  • Experience guiding freelance creators, researchers or similar support roles
  • Warm, clear communication, the ability to turn creative direction into a brief people love working from, and to write captions, hooks and scripts with real personality
