Head of Social Media
A consumer health and wellbeing brand is looking for a Head of Social to lead their next chapter. This is a rare opportunity to own social strategy and delivery across both a highly engaged consumer audience and a business-facing audience, with real appetite from the top to shift meaningful brand-building budget into social.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and evolve the global social media strategy across both consumer and business-facing audiences
- Lead, develop and grow a team of five (including social managers, a community manager, a specialist, and an editor)
- Act as the internal expert and advisor on social to senior stakeholders, including board-level presentations
- Shape and grow an emerging influencer approach, working alongside the brand's ambassador programme
- Partner with in-house content and external agency partners to deliver a consistent volume of brand-building social content
- Champion a shift of above-the-line brand budget into owned and paid social channels

Skills & Experience
- Proven experience leading social strategy and a social team at a senior/Head of level, ideally within a consumer-facing brand
- Demonstrable credibility operating in a more B2B-adjacent environment, alongside consumer social expertise
- Experience presenting and advising at senior leadership/board level
- Comfortable operating within a regulated or corporate-adjacent environment
- Track record of managing agency relationships and in-house content production in parallel

- Confident, credible, and comfortable presenting to senior executives
- Entrepreneurial — genuinely energized by shaping a strategy from scratch rather than inheriting a fixed playbook
- Collaborative leader who can build trust quickly with a small, close-knit team
Salary & Benefits
- £80,000–£100,000 base salary
- Hybrid working
