Salary: Circa £110,000 per annum, plus £6k Car Allowance and 15% performance-rated bonus

Lead the Technology That Powers Growth

This is not a traditional Head of Software Engineering role. We're looking for a technology leader who can combine engineering excellence with strategic thinking, helping shape how technology enables the next stage of growth across Acosta Group Europe. As our most senior software engineering leader, you'll play a central role in defining technology direction, leading high-performing engineering teams, influencing senior stakeholders, and ensuring our platforms and products are built to support ambitious business goals. You'll have the opportunity to modernise, innovate, and shape the future, balancing hands-on understanding of technology with the leadership and commercial awareness needed to drive meaningful business outcomes.

About the Opportunity

Technology is a critical enabler of our future growth. We're investing in our platforms, systems, and digital capabilities to create better experiences for our clients, colleagues, and customers. As Head of Software Engineering, you'll lead the engineering function while helping influence wider technology strategy. Working across multiple business areas, you'll ensure our technology roadmap delivers against both immediate priorities and long-term ambitions.

This is a highly visible leadership role where you'll work closely with senior stakeholders across the organization, translating business challenges into technology solutions and creating an environment where talented engineers can do their best work.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
