About us

At Xelix, we work with some of the world’s largest companies to automate and strengthen their financial controls. Our AI solutions redefine how Accounts Payable teams operate – moving from manual processes to automated, intelligent workflows.

Xelix is a fast-paced scale-up – things move fast and expectations are high. We raised our Series B with Insight Partners in June 2025 and are expanding aggressively. We have a team of 150 talented people pulling together to achieve our goals. Everyone is trusted to take ownership, move fast and have a meaningful impact. We prioritise personal and professional growth, keep things fun, and love to celebrate a milestone together.

In this role you’ll grow, be challenged and help shape the future of Xelix. If you’re excited about building something special with us, we’d love to hear from you.

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Head of Solution Consulting to lead and scale our global pre-sales/solution consulting function at a very fast-growing scale-up.

You will manage our Solution Consulting team across the US and UK, and act as the critical bridge between Sales and our Product, Services and Technical teams. This role requires a balance of people leadership, technical depth, sales acumen and strategic thinking, and will sit as part of our Sales and Commercial leadership team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and develop a team of Solution Consultants globally, across the US and UK.
  • Partner with Sales leaders across New Business, Expansion and Partnerships to drive revenue through effective technical pre-sales support.
  • Act as the bridge between Sales and Product/Technical teams, running a two-way feedback loop – enabling Sales teams with the knowledge and tools they need, and channelling customer and market insight back to Product to shape the roadmap.
  • Own and evolve the Solution Consulting playbook, keeping the function ahead of the curve on tools, processes and techniques.
  • Get personally involved in strategic deals and key customer engagements, providing senior technical and commercial input where it matters most.
  • Sit on the Sales and Commercial leadership team, contributing to broader go-to-market strategy and decision-making.
  • Work closely with Services and Technical teams to ensure a smooth handover from pre-sales to delivery, and that customer requirements are well understood and met.
  • Develop and maintain extensive knowledge of market trends, competitor products and industry developments, and ensure this is reflected in the team's approach.
  • Provide training and support to other functions within the commercial team.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with customers and partners, serving as a senior technical advisor.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
