Head of Solutions Design
The Head of Solutions Design will lead the development and implementation of innovative 3rd party logistics solutions for customers in a variety of sectors. This role requires a strategic thinker with expertise in logistics to drive operational excellence and deliver value to clients.

Description
- Develop and implement end-to-end logistics solutions tailored to client requirements.
- Lead the design of operational processes to enhance efficiency and scalability.
- Create cost models for customer operations.
- Create efficient warehouse layouts considering growth and scalability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of solutions.
- Analyse data to identify areas for improvement and recommend actionable strategies.
- Engage with stakeholders to understand business needs and align solutions accordingly.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and best practices in logistics.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to the solutions design team.

Profile
A successful Head of Solutions Design should have:
- Proven expertise in logistics solution design within the 3rd party logistics sector.
- Strong analytical skills to interpret complex data and drive decision-making.
- Experience in leading cross-functional teams and managing stakeholders effectively.
- Knowledge of current trends and innovations in logistics solutions (Automation, mechanisation).
- Experience of working with Autocad or similar tools for warehouse layouts.
- Excellent project management and organisational skills.
- A results-oriented mindset with the ability to deliver high-quality outcomes.
