To support the ongoing Matilda The Musical UK & Ireland Tour, we are looking for an experienced Head of Stage to join us from October 2026 until January 2027.
The Head of Stage will ensure the production runs smoothly and consistently throughout the tour, adapting to challenges whilst maintaining the show's original artistic vision.

- An understanding and practical knowledge of the principles and safe working practices of set construction and design and theatre rigging.
- Professional theatre experience relevant to this post.
- An understanding of other theatre departments and resident creative team.
- Excellent leadership and organisational skills.
- Clear communication and interpersonal skills.

Applicants must have an understanding and practical knowledge of the principles and safe working practices in all areas of touring theatre.
This position is offered as a full time, fixed term, touring contract commencing part way through the tour in October 2026 and ending in January 2027. There are 8 shows a week over six days (Tuesday to Sunday).
