ProCook Overview

ProCook is a UK kitchenware retailer and brand known for stylish, high-spec cookware and kitchen products that offer strong value to customers. With a clear focus on sustainability, inclusion, and employee experience, the business is continuing to invest in its retail presence and create stores that reflect the quality of its brand and the experience it wants to deliver.

Role Description

This role sits at the centre of that growth. As Head of Store Development, you will shape how ProCook expands and evolves its retail estate, helping bring new locations to life while ensuring existing spaces continue to meet the needs of the business and its customers. You will work across a broad group of stakeholders, balancing commercial priorities, project delivery, and brand standards to support long-term retail growth.

Responsibilities

  • Lead store opening, relocation, and refurbishment projects across the retail estate.
  • Develop and execute the long-term store development and expansion strategy.
  • Manage budgets, timelines, and cross-functional stakeholders for new store projects.
  • Identify and evaluate new retail sites to support commercial growth plans.
  • Ensure new and refurbished stores meet brand, operational, and customer experience standards.

Requirements

Required Qualifications

  • Experience managing site feasibility assessments.
  • Strong background in budget, lease, and cost management within a retail property or store development environment.
  • High proficiency with project management, project planning, budget tracking, and reporting tools.
  • Ability to review architectural or CAD drawings using relevant tools.
  • Proven experience negotiating with landlords and managing vendor relationships.
  • Experience leading cross-functional projects across property, design, and operations, with the ability to influence C-suite and director-level stakeholders and collaborate effectively with commercial, finance, marketing, retail, warehouse, and recruitment teams.
  • Valid driving licence.
  • Eligibility to work in the United Kingdom.
  • Willingness to travel extensively nationwide to evaluate prospective sites and inspect ongoing construction progress.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
