Mark Sattin Executive Search is working with a multisite Healthcare Group to appoint a Head of Strategic Finance. The role will provide high-quality analysis, interpretation and commercial insight across the Group, working closely with senior stakeholders and supporting key business decisions.
A key part of the remit will be developing management information and analysis, identifying trends, variances and performance drivers, and translating financial information into clear commercial insight. Working closely with the operations team, the role will support planning, forecasting, financial modelling and scenario analysis, ensuring stakeholders have a clear understanding of performance and the factors driving it.

The role will also have exposure to investors and senior leadership, preparing and presenting financial information, supporting business cases and contributing to strategic projects. Working closely with operational and corporate teams, the Head of Strategic Finance will develop a strong understanding of the wider business, challenge performance and identify opportunities to improve commercial outcomes.
This is a hands-on role for a strong finance professional who can move beyond the numbers, communicate effectively with a broad range of stakeholders and provide meaningful insight to support decision-making. The business is open to candidates from practice, corporate finance, transaction services or a similar analytical background.

The ideal candidate will:
- Have strong financial analysis and interpretation skills.
- Bring experience from practice, corporate finance, transaction services, strategic finance or a similar environment.
- Be confident working with MI, forecasting, financial modelling and business cases.
- Be a strong communicator, comfortable presenting to senior stakeholders and investors.
- Demonstrate commercial curiosity and the ability to understand business performance and identify opportunities.
- Be hands-on, credible and able to build strong relationships across the business.
